During October and November 2008, IPSOS MORI on behalf of the Rural Action Zone (South Holland District Council are a lead partner of the RAZ) are sending out surveys to a random selection of 3,400 residents throughout the District. The survey is known as the 'PLACE Survey', and the questions ask residents for their views about life in the local area and for their opinions of various public services.
Every Council in England has sent out the PLACE Survey to residents in their area. So that national patterns can be studied, every Council asks the same questions. These questions are set by the Government (Department for Communities and Local Government).
If you receive a survey please take five minutes to fill it in and make your views known. All the findings will be used to identify areas where services need improving.
A summary of the key findings from the Place Survey will be published next spring.
