The Rural Action Zone (RAZ) was the Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) in South Holland. Following a review during mid 2010, support for LSP’s was withdrawn and the constitution for the RAZ was withdrawn at the AGM on 09th September 2010. It was agreed that the RAZ brand would be retained for future use and for lobbying about issues impacting upon the district.
Minutes for the meeting of 09th September (PDF, 16KB) The work within theme groups will continue through SHDC and through partners. The Health and Well-being theme group is being managed by South Lincs CVS. The work of the Skills and Economy Theme Group is continuing through SHDC’s Economic Development team. The Environment theme group will continue to be chaired by SHDC’s Head of Planning. Community transport from the Connectivity group has been grouped with Our Communities and this is being supported by the Community Development Team within SHDC. The Portfolio Holders of Place initiative will be supported by the Community Development team and they intend to meet annually to maintain working relationships.
