District Facts and Figures

As a District we are a sparsely populated rural area with a distinctive fenland landscape, with an economy that is heavily reliant on one sector, the agricultural, horticultural and food processing sector. We are one of the most sparsely populated districts in the country, with around 1 person per hectare.
