Crowland Parish Council (West Ward)

A vacancy has occurred on the West Ward of Crowland Parish Council, following the resignation of Councillor Glynn Mayley.

The Notice of Vacancy (PDF, 10KB) will be published on 28 May 2012 for a 14 day period (excluding weekends and bank holidays). During this 14 day period ten registered local government electors from the West Ward of Crowland Parish can make a request to the Returning Officer for an election to be held to fill this vacancy. A form to be completed to request an election is available from the Electoral Services section. The deadline for requesting an election is 19 June 2012. If a request from 10 electors is not received by 19 June 2012 the Parish Council will fill the vacancy by co-option.


Fleet Parish Council

One vacancy occurred on the Village Ward of Fleet Parish Council in April 2012 following the resignation of Councillor Steve Cole.

The deadline for ten electors to request an election to be held to fill this vacancy expired on 14 May 2012 without a request being received. The vacancy will now be filled by the Fleet Parish Council by co-option.


Holbeach Parish Council – St Johns Ward

One vacancy occurred on the St Johns Ward of Holbeach Parish Council in March 2012 following the resignation of Councillor Carol Rudkin.

The deadline for ten electors to request an election to be held to fill this vacancy expired on 24 April 2012 without a request being received. The vacancy will now be filled by the Holbeach Parish Council by co-option.


Holbeach Parish Council (Town Ward)

One vacancy occurred on the Town Ward of Holbeach Parish Council following the resignation of Councillor Elizabeth Martin-Wright in January 2012. A request for an election to be held to fill this was received from 10 registered electors of the Town Ward of Holbeach Parish and an election was scheduled to be held on Thursday, 31 May 2012.

Nomination papers were submitted by one candidate, Mrs Isobel M Hutchinson who has been declared elected to the Town Ward of Holbeach Parish Council without a contest. A copy of the Result of the Uncontested Election (PDF, 7KB) can be downloaded here. An election will now not be held to fill this vacancy.

Holbeach Parish Council – Town Ward

There are 8 vacancies on the Town Ward of Holbeach Parish Council following the resignation of Councillors Michael Barter, Valery Gemmell, Martin Howard, Carol Johnson, Yvonne Jones, Rita Rudkin, Esmond Tearle and Graham Warrender. A request for an election to be held to fill these vacancies has been received from 10 registered electors of the Town Ward of the Parish. An election is now scheduled to be held on Thursday, 21 June 2012.

The Notice of Election is published from 16 May 2012 and nomination papers can be submitted by candidates between 17 May 2012 and 12 noon on 24 May 2012. Candidate’s nomination packs can be obtained from our Electoral Services Section at the SHDC Council Offices or from the Holbeach Parish Clerk – Mrs T Daisley, Coubro Chambers, 11 West End, Holbeach.

If more than eight nominations are received the poll will take place on Thursday, 21 June 2012 between the hours of 7am and 10pm. The polling station will be the;

Community Centre, Fishpond Lane, Holbeach
Women’s Institute Hall, Park Road, Holbeach

A copy of the Statement of Persons Nominated will be published here by noon on 28 May 2012.


Moulton Parish Council

One vacancy occurred on the Village Ward of Moulton Parish Council following the resignation of Councillor Paul Winn in March 2012. A request for an election to be held to fill this was received from 10 registered electors of the Village Ward of Moulton Parish and an election was scheduled to be held on Thursday, 24 May 2012.

Nomination papers were submitted by one candidate, Mr Andrew Miller who has been declared elected to the Village Ward of Moulton Parish Council without a contest. A copy of the Result of the Uncontested Election (PDF, 7KB) can be downloaded here. An election will now not be held to fill this vacancy.

Sutton
Bridge Parish Council

A vacancy has occurred on the Sutton Bridge Parish Council, following the resignation of Councillor Christopher Brandon-King.

The Notice of Vacancy (PDF, 10KB) will be published on 8 May 2012 for a 14 day period (excluding weekends and bank holidays). During this 14 day period ten registered local government electors from the Sutton Bridge Parish can make a request to the Returning Officer for an election to be held to fill this vacancy. A form to be completed to request an election is available from the Electoral Services section. The deadline for requesting an election is 28 May 2012. If a request from 10 electors is not received by 28 May 2012 the Parish Council will fill the vacancy by co-option.


Whaplode Parish Council

A vacancy occurred on the St Catherine Ward of Whaplode Parish Council in February 2012 following the resignation of Councillor Tony Bown.

The deadline for ten electors to request an election to be held to fill this vacancy expired on 7 March 2012 without a request being received. The vacancy will now be filled by the Whaplode Parish Council by co-option.
