Surfleet Seas End County Primary School

Surfleet Seas End Primary School, built in 1878, has the appearance of a typical Victorian School. The original school buildings still stand, together with the schoolhouse which has recently been refurbished and now acts as the administration office and visitor reception areas.

Firm Foundations for the Future.

Over the years the building has been extended to provide accommodation which now includes 3 internal classrooms, a large multi purpose hall, a central library and an information technology area with specialist computers and technology facilities.. A further mobile building, adjacent to the rear playground, provides the fourth classroom.

The school has two large hard surface playing areas, an environmental garden, a garden play area and a very large field which is used for sports and games.

The school has 96 pupils on roll served by 4 full time teaching staff and numerous support and ancillary staff.

The school is involved with many aspects of village life, has good links with other groups and organisations locally and always welcomes opportunities to be further involved within the village and local community.
