There are 22 parish councils and meetings within South Holland, however, there is no parish council for Spalding and effectively, therefore, no authority which solely represents the town and its interests. The Spalding Town Forum has therefore been set up and is made up of all Councillors elected to Spalding wards. The Forum meets 4 times a year to review the operation of the Spalding Expenses Account, and encourage and broaden consultation and partcipation in the Council's work on behalf of the town.
