IEG Statement

The Government has set local authorities a target of making services electronically available by 2005 wherever possible. Electronic service delivery is about giving customers choice, so if you prefer to use traditional methods of contacting the council, such as by telephone or in person, these will still be available.

The "Implementing Electronic Government" document is available for download and sets out South Holland District Council's vision of achieving modern service delivery by 2005. By its nature, this strategy will develop over time in response to changing business demands and opportunities brought about by new technology and partnerships. South Holland is committed to the modernisation of the Authority through e-government whilst retaining and enhancing the core values of the Council and meeting the needs of local citizens and businesses.
