The Community Development team of South Holland District Council have opportunities for volunteering in their extensive forthcoming events programme. Whether you are back from university or simply looking to develop your CV, SHDC welcomes individuals who wish to assist us on all our community projects and festivals, including Sports, Arts, Music and Drama events!
Our Pumpkin Parade (10th October), Christmas Market (early December) and the Open Arts Exhibition in January 2009 have many stewarding requirements throughout the day. These are perfect platforms for anyone who is involved, or wishes to be involved with the tourism industry, to develop their practical knowledge. We recognise volunteers as an asset to us and will accommodate individuals' needs and help in developing specific skills.
