South Lincolnshire Community and Voluntary Service

South Lincolnshire Community and Voluntary Service (SLCVS) works with local voluntary and community groups to promote and develop effective local voluntary action by providing a wide range of services. These services include information, advice, training and networking opportunities and assisting new groups through developing initiatives to meet identified needs.

They also administer the FLASH Fund on behalf of South Holland District Council. Local voluntary and community groups can apply for grants of up to £300. An application form (PDF , 198KB) and set of guidance notes (PDF , 124KB) are available to for download. For more details ring 01775 718008.

SLCVS can also offer guidance and advice to local voluntary and community groups to develop volunteering within their organisations. This can include promoting the benefits of volunteering to both groups and individuals, identifying volunteering opportunities and disseminating good practice. Help can also be provided to people who would like to volunteer by signposting them to volunteering opportunities. For more information contact the Volunteer Development Officer on 01775 718008.
