Volunteers

South Holland DC is pleased to work in partnership with a wide range of organisations from within the voluntary sector. We directly fund the core work of the South Lincs Community and Voluntary Service, South Holland Citizens Advice Bureau and the South Holland Community Furniture Recycling Project. These are managed and monitored through service level agreements. In addition to direct funding support we work closely with other agencies to promote the valuable work that they do and can offer to local voluntary and community groups.

Support for the voluntary sector is also available at a national level. The following organisations could offer assistance and advice:

  • NAVCA is the national voice of local support and development organisations
  • NVCO who advice and support community and voluntary organisations
  • One East Midlands works to ensure that local voluntary groups are engaging with key partners from the public, private and community sector
