A parish plan is a strategic, all encompassing document, detailing how the community wants their parish to look in the next 5-10 years time. It is a grass roots process whereby communities work together to decide what they want to change and what they value about their parish. It consists of three elements; a community profile, consultation and action plan.
There are several parishes in South Holland who are at various stages of developing a Community Led / Parish Plan.
Holbeach launched their parish plan in April 2008 and a copy of their Plan can be downloaded below:
Donington launched their Community Plan in September 2009. It can be down loaded from the Community Lincs website.
Surfleet launched their parish plan in January 2010.
