Funding Advice Fairs

If you are a voluntary and community group looking for funding ideas and advice then you need to come along to the next funding advice fair. The Council organises two funding advice fairs a year where numerous funding organisations and advice agencies attend to promote the advice and support that they can offer.

The last fair took place on Tuesday 25th Nov at Bourne Corn Exchange, Bourne. It was organised in partnership with South Lincolnshire Community and Voluntary Service, Boston Borough Council and South Kesteven District Council.

Around 40 people attended the event where they had the opportunity to talk face to face with funders and advice organisations to pick up hints and tips on submitting a successful funding application.

Individuals were able to discuss their project ideas with around 20 stall holders including the Big Lottery, South Lincs CVS (Community and Voluntary Service), Lincolnshire County Council, Youth Volunteering, Community Lincs and Business Link.

The next fair will be held in Spring 2009 and details will be available next year from the Community Development Team on 01775 761161.
