The units on Pinnacle Close have been built as a joint venture between South Holland District Council and the East Midlands Development Agency in response to a study carried out in the district. It showed an unsatisfied demand for both land and premises that are affordable and have the flexibility of tenure that will make them attractive to a wide variety of businesses.
Three acres of allocated employment land at Crease Drove, Crowland were acquired in early 2008 and construction of six units, along with road and utility infrastructure, began in late 2009.
The units were completed in July 2010.
Three of the six units are already taken subject to contract, but the three remaining units are available for sale, rent or lease, and are sized at 1212 square feet for unit 2, 1524 square feet for unit 4, and 1543 square feet for unit 5. Rentals start from £4.50 per square foot.
Each unit has both roller shutter and personnel doors, an office and a toilet with disabled facilities. There is sufficient height for a mezzanine floor to be fitted at a later date if required.
Car and bike parking facilities are also available on the site.
A number of starter units are also about to become available at Horseshoe Yard, Crowland. These units are 660 square feet and rents start from £5.23 per square foot, with a half price rental deal for six months for new businesses.
