Funding is available through the Learning & Skills Council to support the development of senior managers across the East Midlands through the Leaders First Programme. The criteria are:
- The company/organisation (private, public sector or charitable) must have between 5 and 249 employed staff
- Volunteers may benefit if all other criteria are met
- Support is for one director/senior manager (strategic decision maker) per organisation
- Training cannot be mandatory
- Must clearly demonstrate that Leadership & Management skills are being developed through funded training
- Funding will not be available if the company has benefited from Leadership & Management funding through the LSC in the past 3 years.
Funding is available on the basis of:
Up to £1000 : £500 grant and up to a further £500 on a 50:50 cash matched basis for non-higher education training (50:50 up to £1000 for higher education training).
Done on a reimbursement basis.
