Business Rates Payments
You can pay your Business Rate bill by Direct Debit, over the Internet or telephone, by Standing Order, Internet banking or in person at the Post Office. Also, did you know that you can pay your Business Rates over 12 months rather than the usual ten?
You can also call us on 01775 761161, selecting option four (Council Tax or Business Rates), followed by option two, during normal office hours and we'll do it there and then for you. Please have your Business Rate account number and bank details ready when you call.
If you are already paying by Direct Debit, your payments will continue each year - unless you cancel the instruction with your bank or building society.
Pay your bill by debit card using our secure Online facility. You can also check your account balance through this service.
Over the telephone
Ring 0845 6031714 to use our 24 hour automated telephone payment service. Please note that calls may be charged at up to 7p a minute. You will need to have your Business Rates account number and card details ready. You can also contact us to make a debit card payment during working hours. Please ring 01775 761161 and select option two to make a payment. Please have your account number and card details ready.
Standing Order and Online Banking
To pay by Standing Order, contact your bank. They will need to know the amounts to be paid, dates due and your Business Rates account number - these are all found on your bill. They will also need our bank details, which are:
SOUTH HOLLAND DISTRICT COUNCIL - LLOYDS BANK
SORT CODE: 30-00-00
BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER: 00211567
Please allow five working days for your payment to reach us.
Post Office (fees apply)
You can pay at any Post Office by filling in a Standard Transcash form. Our Girobank Account Number is 2154625. You must put your account number on the form (shown on your bill). Please allow at least five working days for these payments to reach us.
12 Monthly Instalments
The full 12 instalments can only be given at the start of the financial year, where we have received sufficient notice. Where we cannot give 12, you will be given the maximum number of instalments to the end of the financial year. If you would like to opt in to the 12 month instalment plan, email us on email@example.com.
