Budgets, Spending and Performance

  • Transparency

    The local government transparency code is issued to meet the government's desire to place more power into citizens' hands to increase democratic accountability. It will make it easier for local people to contribute to the local decision making process and help shape public services.

  • Plans, Policies and Strategies

    The Medium Term Financial Plan (MTFP) of the council is updated and approved on an annual basis which identifies Revenue & Capital estimates, use of reserves, the Capital investment Strategy & the Treasury Strategy. The MTFP is closely aligned with the corporate plan to ensure that it enables the Council to achieve its corporate objectives.

  • Financial Statements

    The Financial Statements document includes all the core financial statements and disclosure notes required by law. It explains where money has come from, and what the services the money received has been spent on during the financial year.

  • Social Housing Asset Value

    Housing Stock Information Local Authorities are required to publish details of the value of social housing stock that is held in their Housing Revenue Account. The data must be published by postal sector and classified within pre-determined valuation bands and include valuations for the dwellings using both Exiting Use Value for Social Housing (EUV-SH) and Market Value (MV). The data is required to be published annually as at 1st April and must be based on the Authority's most up to date valuations.

  • Draft Budget 2017/18 Consultation

    The Council's budget, together with our transformation programme, supports the delivery of our long-term ambitions for the district and the four priorities in our Corporate Plan.
