Ayscoughfee Hall Museum is set in a Medieval Hall dating back to around 1451.  This fascinating grade II* listed building includes exhibitions, displays and educational opportunities for all to enjoy.


We've now launched our new, free education programme, aimed at learners of all ages and abilities.

  • There's always lots to see and do at Ayscoughfee Hall Museum, including events, re-enactments, craft sessions and exhibitions.
  • Entry to the Museum and Gardens is FREE.

The Geest Gallery is Ayscoughfee Hall Museum's temporary exhibition space. The Gallery has a lively programme of changing exhibitions showcasing the talents of all kinds of different local, national and international artists.

The Geest Gallery is now fully booked until the end of 2011, but if you are interested in exhibiting your art work at Ayscoughfee Hall Museum, please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss it in 01775 764555 or museum@sholland.gov.uk.

Lots of exciting events are held at Ayscoughfee Hall Museum and Gardens every year, including childrens' arts and craft activities, re-enactments, musical and theatrical shows, as well as themed Christmas events for all the family.

We're also licensed to hold civil wedding and partnership ceremonies, so why not contact us for further information about holding your ceremony in this unique setting?
We've now launched our education programme of self-led sessions free of charge that are closely linked to the National Curriculum, and provide a great learning experience for all.
